Ignite Magazine

Wow, it's been so long since I last made a post. I've been really wanting to but just haven't been able to find any inspiration! Feel free to make suggestions for things you want to read about :)

This past semester I had the opportunity and the privilege to work with a group of fellow students to completely design, write and edit a magazine all on our own. 13 long weeks of late nights and group meetings later the magazine was finally complete! I am so proud of how it turned out and so I would like to share it with you all in hopes that you too, find it fascinating! I'm also going to attach the specific article that I wrote so that you all can get a closer look at some of my work!

Inspiration

Right before the presentation
From the very beginning of the project, my group and I knew the direction that we wanted to go in. We agreed that we wanted to give our readers the opportunity to "ignite" their creativity. We wanted to focus on various artists, musicians and photographers in our first issue that we felt encompassed a unique artistic ability that might not otherwise be acknowledged. However, what makes our magazine special is that in each issue, we have planned to focus on a completely different style of creativity. For example, our next issue might focus on a woodworker or even a yoga teacher.
